GWC Warranty’s leadership team has decades of automotive experience and advanced educational degrees. We are dedicated professionals that are committed to furthering our mission of serving as the industry’s best-in-class vehicle service contract provider. Together, we help our dealers sell more cars and bring their customers a “No Worries, Just Drive” experience.
Finbarr (“Fin”) O’Neill joined the Board of APCO in February 2018 and was named CEO & Chairman in May 2019. Fin has over 20 years of experience as CEO with various companies in the automotive industry. Most recently, Mr. O’Neill was President and CEO of J.D. Power. In his 10 years with J.D. Power, Fin helped lead the firm through a period of dramatic expansion into data & analytics, and integration of strategic acquisitions including the NADA Used Car Guide and the used car pricing consumer website National Appraisal Guides. Previously, he served as CEO of Hyundai Motor America where he helped lead a brand turnaround, Mitsubishi North America, and Reynolds & Reynolds.
Matt McKenna joined APCO in 2019 as Senior Vice President of GWC Warranty and APCO Marketing. McKenna spent 15 years with Autotrader, now part of Cox Automotive, where he helped grow the business from a startup into the market-leading provider of third-party car-shopping sites (Autotrader.com & KBB.com) with more than $1 billion in annual revenue.Prior to joining Autotrader, he served in leadership roles with major automotive marketing agencies Campbell-Ewald and J. Walter Thompson, focused on the Chevrolet and Ford brands respectively. McKenna is a graduate of Michigan State University and the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.
David joined GWC Warranty in February 2018 as Chief Financial Officer. He brings over 30 years of experience in the insurance and extended warranty industries. David has served as CFO for both publicly-held corporations as well as private-equity backed organizations. Most recently, he served as EVP and CFO of The Warranty Group. David received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Kate Eltringham joined GWC Warranty in 2013 as Director of Marketing, and was promoted to Vice President of Marketing in 2015. She brings over 15 years of marketing experience. Prior to joining GWC, Eltringham held progressive roles in marketing, most recently as the Brand Manager for CIW Enterprises. She spent most of her career with InterMetro Industries, a former business unit of Emerson Electric Corporation, where she held roles in analytics, product management and strategic planning. Eltringham holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Spanish from King’s College and Master of Business Administration from Wilkes University.
Greg Sturr joined GWC Warranty in August of 2015 and serves as the Vice President of Business Analytics. Sturr brings 20 years of leadership experience in risk management, pricing and business analytics to GWC. Previously, Sturr served as Vice President of Revenue for Craftsy, Managing Director of Securitization for Allonhill, and Chief Risk Officer for American Credit Acceptance along with other analytic leadership roles at Ford Credit and Caterpillar Finance. Sturr received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Colorado.
Monte Pinkett joined GWC Warranty in January 2015 as Vice President of Information Technology. He brings over 25 years of experience, with almost a decade in the automotive industry, leading business systems transformations, strategic application development and delivering successful IT/business alignment. Prior to joining GWC, Pinkett served as V.P. of Information Technology for Automobile Protection Corporation, responsible for technology decisions to support the enterprise. He also served as IT Senior Manager at The Home Depot, responsible for customer ordering systems, and began his career in programming at IBM. Pinkett received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Hampton University.
